The Cowboys created an upset when beating Melbourne last week but they could struggle to stick with the Panthers, so take the home team.

We have been impressed with what the Brisbane Broncos have offered so far and we think their momentum continues.
There has been some support for the Gold Coast Titans but we think they’re a step below the Broncos, who are firing with Adam Reynolds.
Punters will have to take the –9.5, but we’re comfortable taking that line.

3:00pm New Zealand Warriors vs Newcastle Knights @ Moreton Daily Stadium
The Warriors are their own worst enemy and they’re tough to back with any amount of confidence.
They had their chance to beat the St George Dragons but silly mistakes cost them the game. Matthew Lodge has since left the club, so it’s not looking good.
They’re favoured to beat the Newcastle Knights and despite the Knights being just as bad, we’re taking the $2.35 available.

Sitting in eighth isn’t where the South Sydney Rabbitohs envisioned, so they’ll need to secure the win against the Wests Tigers.

It has been a dreadful season for the Canterbury Bulldogs and we don’t see it improving anytime soon.
Trent Barrett has left and that can sometimes rejuvenate a team, but that wasn’t the case last week as the Bulldogs suffered another big loss.
St George looked solid against the Warriors and it should win consecutive games.
