Tried our top rated bookmakers?
Race 1. (11:45) Donald Motor Lodge Maiden (1204m)
#9 – Jenny Jerome @ $3.70 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Jenny Jerome ran second on debut at Bendigo and she has since won a trial at Tatura, so punters should be confident.
The Patrick Payne-trained daughter of Churchill was scratched from a race last start, so she’ll be ready to fire and we’re liking the odds available.
Race 4. (13:35) Buloke Plumbing BM58 (1624m)
#3 – Spooning @ $3.20 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Spooning hasn’t shown her best form at her last two starts but we’re keeping the faith with the daughter of Ocean Park.
The four-year-old didn’t enjoy the track last start when beaten 17.8 lengths, but we expect her to bounce back and the market reflects as much.
Barrier two is ideal, so put her on top.
Race 5. (14:25) Megelec Electrical BM64 (2008m)
#7 – House Spouse @ $2.45 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
House Spouse has improved with every run this preparation and he could cap off his form with a win.
The four-year-old gelding has figured in the finish in four of his six starts, including a second placing at Sale last time out.
Barrier 11 won’t worry him over this distance and he has form on wet tracks.
Race 6. (15:05) Bet365 Top Tote Plus BM70 (1002m)
#10 – Royal Dress @ $4.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Royal Dress has had four starts for two wins and the filly could be a type to rise through the grades.
The McEvoy-trained three-year-old scored over the short distance at Swan Hill by a narrow margin and that should top her off nicely for this run.
Carrying 55.5kg is ideal and it could make all the difference.
Race 2. (12:46) Dubbo RSL Restaurant Maiden (1110m)
#6 – Tyquendo @ $2.45 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Tyquendo showed enough ability last preparation and his effort for second at Newcastle is a good form guide.
The three-year-old son of Outreach has been confidently backed at $2.45, which is an indication of how forward he is.
His trial form has been solid and we expect a nice effort.
Race 3. (13:26) Dubbo RSL Health & Fitness C1 (1110m)
#5 – Gallant Star @ $1.75 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Gallant Star scored a win on debut at Dubbo by 4.3 lengths and it was hard not to be impressed with the effort.
The two-year-old gelding kicked strongly on the soft track conditions and getting the inside draw here is ideal.
Punters have to take short odds but they’re worth taking.
Race 5. (14:45) Dubbo RSL Club BM58 (1310m)
#1 – Bondadosa @ $4.40 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Bondadosa is seeking her third consecutive win after scoring at Hawkesbury and Dubbo, so the form stacks up.
The three-year-old filly won by 3.8 lengths last time out as a $17 and bookmakers haven’t let her get under the radar again.
3kg comes off her back to help with the big weight.
Race 6. (15:25) North Dubbo RSL Sporties BM66 (1610m)
#1 – Ferus @ $3 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Ferus is always around the mark with four wins and seven placings from 17 starts, so we’re in his camp.
The five-year-old gelding comes off a win at Dubbo and having winning experience on the track helps his cause.
4kg comes off his back and we’re in his camp.
