The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.29PM Shepparton to The Meadows Grade 5 Final – 525 metres

#5 Rio Hato – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has seen plenty of tracks early on in his career and hasn’t found one he doesn’t like yet, a nine-time winner, who’s now searching for city success.

Came to The Meadows very early on and ran 30.54, more than serviceable for a young dog and he’s come on since then, expect him to follow the speed across and show superior strength.

Race 2. 6.49PM Handsome Prince at Newhaven Stud Grade 5 – 525 metres

#3 Indy Ghost – Bet @ Sportsbet

This is the easiest race this bitch has seen in some time, she’s got the experience edge over these with forty-five starts under her belt and several wins track and trip.

Has gone back to the shorts the last few runs and has been jumping well, if she puts herself on the speed here should sail away with it.

Race 3. 7.09PM Sky Racing Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres

#7 Hill Top Jack – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has made a recent commitment to the six hundred here at The Meadows and results have been solid a pair of runner-up finishes his last two outings.

Has been behind Collinda Patty and Golden Quest on those occasions both of whom would be odds on in this race, can go one better from the wide box this week with runs under the belt.

Race 4. 7.33PM TOPCAT Video Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres

#1 Amron Boy – Bet @ Sportsbet

Potentially the next big thing of Australian greyhound racing, couldn’t have done more in his four starts for four wins so far running times only the likes of Aston Rupee.

Comes up with another gun draw, has been jumping well and should love the 525 metres here at The Meadows extending in the middle and late stages.

Race 5. 7.54PM KCR Pet Transport Grade 5 – 525 metres

#4 Shanlyn Kim – Bet @ Sportsbet

Should come up at an each-way price here and simply doesn’t run a bad race, have to go a long way back in her form until she’s been out of the money.

Does get back early, but field sense in excellent and always finds her way into the frame at the right time, form in front of Rio Bodhi and Hadouken reads well for this assignment.

Race 6. 8.14PM Get it Gizmo at Newhaven Stud Mixed 4/5 – 725 metres

#3 Whodat Diva – Bet @ Sportsbet

This bitch has ability for days, hasn’t featured in her last two starts getting a chequered passage on both occasions but when she gets a clean run through the field is up with the best stayers in the state.

Good to see her come up with an inside draw, her lack or early pace won’t be too much of a hindrance from box three.

Race 7. 8.38PM Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning Grade 5 Final – 600 metres

#2 Curator – Bet @ Sportsbet

Couldn’t be going any better at the moment, headed north to Wagga for a hit and run mission jogging in by an average margin of twelve lengths in his two wins followed by a six hundred win here.

Only nineteen starts in is still learning and gives away experience but confidence will be high for the pact type off an inside box.

Race 8. 8.58PM The Speedy Simon Sprint Mixed ¾ – 525 metres

#7 Soda Titan – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been going against the best of the best lately behind the classy Boston Garden at Shepparton and running down the slick Werina Express at the same track.

Managed that win from box eight and has always had a penchant for wide draws, also owns a best of 29.77 around here which will challenge all of these top graders.

Race 9. 9.20PM Gorski Tippers and Trailers Grade 5 – 525 metres

#4 Xavien Bale – Bet @ Sportsbet

He’s been out of sorts but this former Group One contestant can’t be ignored in a fifth grade contest like this, hasn’t been beginning like he can but it only takes one run to recapture it.

Has a super record here and when he gets it right at the jump it doesn’t matter where he’s boxed on the track.

Race 10. 9.42PM Grade 5 – 525 metres

#8 Diesel Runner – Bet @ Sportsbet

In the form of his career, had three straight runner-up performances and got a well deserved break through at Shepparton in impressive time last start.

He has been doing that work around the shorter one turn tracks, so you’ll want to see him jumping and running from the wide trap.

Race 11. 10.03PM LK’s Crushin’ It at Newhaven Stud Grade 5 – 525 metres

#3 Sir Chappy – Bet @ Sportsbet

Yet to open his account here at The Meadows but this is a golden opportunity, the two dogs inside him are well and truly in the veteran category, he should cross early and skip away.

Is coming to the stage of his career where this is the type of race he needs to be winning with his talent.

Race 12. 10.25PM Houdini Boy at Stud Grade 5 – 525 metres

#7 Rohan Bale – Bet @ Sportsbet

Super talent out of the freakish Feral Franky, has rocketed out of the gates to start his career already challenging thirty seconds around here.

Can loom up mid-race and let down with a turn of foot here.
