We have expert betting tips for the cards this Tuesday at Ballarat and Goulburn.
There is plenty of value available with bookmakers at the Tuesday meetings and we have our best bets across the cards.
Tried our top rated bookmakers?
Race 1. (13:00) Whitford Liquid Waste Maiden (1000m)
#8 – Cut to the Chase @ $2.60 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Cut to the Chase comes out of two difficult maiden races, including running third on debut at Moonee Valley.
The two-year-old filly has since been spelled following another placing at Bendigo and the daughter of I Am Invincible could return in fine style.
Punters get value odds for the favourite.
Race 3. (14:00) Global Turf Maiden (1500m)
#8 – Parazzi @ $2.70 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Parazzi did enough on debut at Ballarat to suggest she could improve enough to win on Tuesday.
The three-year-old daughter of Iffraaj finished fourth as a $4.40 chance and we’re not surprised that she’s much shorter this time around.
Barrier three is ideal and she won’t take long to exit maiden grades.
Race 5. (15:00) Porter Plant BM58 (1200m)
#3 – Swamp Vixen @ $2.45 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Team McEvoy lines up the three-year-old filly who is getting close to posting her third career victory.
The daughter of Delago Deluxe finished second fresh up before needing the run last time out. One of her two career wins came third-up, so that’s a good sign.
She gets 3kg off her back and every chance from barrier two.
Race 7. (16:00) Sportsbet Bet With Mates BM58 (1400m)
#2 – Tell Me Again @ $4.20 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Tell Me Again is struggling with his form but the change in stables could see that form turn around on Tuesday.
Betting markets suggest he has been better with Alex Rae after finishing eighth at Gawler last start, so the money is worth following.
He’s talented at best and we’re keeping the faith.
Race 1. (12:30) Goulburn Soldiers Club C1 (900m)
#3 – Nomara @ $2.25 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Nomara scored a two-length win at Kembla Grange last start and we like her chances of going back-to-back.
The daughter of No Nay Never didn’t have much opposition to beat that day but it was still a professional effort from an improving filly.
The odds are warranted and we’re backing her.
Race 3. (13:40) Tab Maiden Handicap (1400m)
#2 – Zambrero @ $4.20 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Zambrero comes off a trial placing at Hawkesbury and the three-year-old should be ready to fire on race day.
The son of Stratum Star took on some tough opposition at Canterbury last start, including Sword Point and Flying Witness.
It’s good form for this level of racing.
Race 4. (14:20) Goulburn Mulwaree Council Maiden (1600m)
#4 – Rockierro @ $3 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Rockierro finished second at Kembla Grange last time out and he has plenty of improvement to come.
The three-year-old son of Pierro was only a half-length behind the winner and he shouldn’t take long to breakthrough maiden levels.
We expect him to push forward and control the pace.
Race 6. (15:35) Complete Plumbing BM58 (1400m)
#2 – Beer Palace @ $2.60 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Beer Palace couldn’t have been more impressive when winning on debut at Newcastle and he could rise through the grades.
The three-year-old son of Vanbrugh scored by three lengths on the heavy surface and his odds have firmed considerably since markets opened.
Barrier 13 is the only worry but he could push forward and run them into the ground.
