Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.25PM NSW GBOTA Welcome Maiden Final – 520 metres

#2 Raglan Beach – Bet @ Sportsbet

This youngster should come up a nice each-way quote and while he hasn’t won yet in his short career has showed all the tools to do so with consecutive placings.

Ran on well from a similar draw last week, he was taking ground off the winner just not quite able to breach the gap.

The eight dog will come up a deserved favourite off a phenomenal debut, but if you’re looking at each way value Raglan Beach is knocking on the door and this is a golden opportunity from the good draw.

Race 2. 6.48PM Ladbroke It! Grade 5 – 520 metres

#7 Zipping Lennox  – Bet @ Sportsbet

The big strong son of Zipping Garth has built a formidable record winning seven of his seventeen starts and showing versatility winning at five different tracks including here at Wentworth Park.

At thirty-six kilos he does a remarkable job getting out quick from the boxes and has always had a good record from outside draws, his win and fastest first sectional coming from box five here.

Looks the clear pace in the race and will get every chance to notch up his second win with more to come at headquarters.

Race 3. 7.11PM Friday Night Racing at Wentworth Park Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 Scotty – Bet @ Sportsbet

Wentworth Park hasn’t been kind to this chaser who’s a prolific winner everywhere else, but has only managed four runner-up’s here at the track and trip, but he’s seemingly getting closer each start one of those seconds coming from box eight last week.

He’s built his career as a speed dog and has often put himself in winning positions here and faded into the placings, he can scoot across these and give a great sight and is a must have for each-way players.

Race 4. 7.28PM Ladbrokes Same Game Multi Non-Graded – 720 metres

#1 Eye Catching – Bet @ Sportsbet

He lived up to his name over the summer carnival in Queensland, off some scorching wins over the provincial staying trip he came to Albion Park and challenged the likes of Knicks Bale first up over this trip making it all the way to a Group Three Final.

Is the type of front running stayer who should relish Wentworth Park, he’s drawn to suit in the red and should fly out to a considerable lead mid-race.

Zipping Kansas is no doubt the class of this field, but comes up too short, Eye Catching will give you your money’s worth.

Race 5. 7.47PM Where Else But Wenty Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres

#2 Wioleta Bale – Bet @ Sportsbet

Big drop in grade for this consistent chaser that served it up to the likes of New South Wales Phoenix representative Billy Creek last time out, running 29.92 on a fair track at just his fourth attempt at Wenty.

She’s had four straight at the track and trip now and has improved on the clock and in herself each time out, secures another low draw and will use her 5.44 first section to put herself right in the thick of things in slightly weaker grade.

Race 6. 8.05PM wentworthpark.com.au Mixed ¾ – 520 metres

#1 Billy Creek – Bet @ Sportsbet

Massive run last week, we all know he’s vulnerable at the jump and he did a great job working his way over from box eight showing good field sense to gradually make his way to the fence before rocketing home in trademark fashion.

Big tick coming into the red this week he can spot them a few lengths and save all the ground he can in the run and improve on his already glowing record here.

Race 7. 8.27PM Ladbrokes Golden easter Egg Prelude Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 All Nose – Bet @ Sportsbet

There are a lot of dogs who’re either over the hump or not quite there in this field, that’s not the case with this runner who’s in the form of his career and despite a penchant for inside boxes can make an impact here.

Fourteen starts at the track for a couple of wins and five minors, he hasn’t won much from the eight but does have his personal best from the draw going just outside thirty seconds winning here.

Race 8. 8.45PM Ladbrokes Golden easter Egg Prelude Grade 5 – 520 metres

#1 Gulgong Flyer – Bet @ Sportsbet

Should relish the red rug here, does most of his racing around the tight turning Bathurst track, knows how to find his way to the front and hold a lead.

He’s not a one trick pony either having won twice here in the city he’s a strong chance of making it three in a very winnable fifth grade.

Race 9. 9.08PM Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Prelude Grade 5 – 520 metres

#6 Analyzing – Bet @ Sportsbet

His record isn’t anything spectacular here at track and trip but he’s always been racing against the best company and was desperately unlucky when grabbed by a flying Billy Creek on the post last week.

Showed brilliant early burn to be a clear leader in that race coming over from a wide box and in an easier race in a big chance of finding the top again and there’s not the calibre of competition to chase him down.

Race 10. 9.27PM Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Prelude Grade 5 – 520 metres

#2 Springview Sugar – Bet @ Sportsbet

Looked a little lost coming here for the first time last week but that run should straighten him up nicely, known for his early speed he enjoys a vacant box to his outside and should find clear running.

He’s won over this distance at other tracks before and will get his chance to run out the five hundred at Wenty.
