2021-22 EPL Week 38 Tips

It all comes down to the last day of the season for many teams, with plenty on the line on the final Sunday. Manchester City know that a win over Aston Villa will secure the title but any slip up will be an opportunity for Liverpool to take a step closer to the quadruple. Tottenham have the advantage over Arsenal in the race for a top 4 finish, with a win at Norwich being all they need to secure Champions League football whilst Burnley and Leeds are in a straight battle to survive, on what should be an incredible final day.

Here are our picks for the final round of fixtures in the EPL:

Arsenal vs Everton – Emirates Stadium

Arsenal ($1.36)

Everton ($10)

Draw ($5.6)

Top 4 chasing Arsenal will be looking to hold up their part of the bargain as they host Everton. The Gunners have stalled significantly in recent weeks and are now behind Tottenham in the race for a Champions League finish next season, but they will want to finish the season strongly. Everton meanwhile produced a spectacular comeback on Thursday night to beat Crystal Palace and secure their Premier League status. The pressure could be off for Everton and Arsenal could cash in with a valuable home win.

Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($1.36) Bet @ Picklebet

Arsenal to win 3-1

Brentford vs Leeds – Brentford Community Stadium

Brentford ($2.45)

Leeds United ($2.94)

Draw ($3.91)

Leeds United know that they need to find a result at Brentford to have any chance of staying in the Premier League. The Bees have enjoyed a super season under Thomas Frank, and they won’t let their standards slip in the final game of the season. Leeds meanwhile sit in the bottom three, level on points with Burnley but their inferior goal difference leaves them needing something here. The stakes in West London will be sky high, with the draw looking the most likely outcome.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.91) Bet @ Picklebet

1-1 Draw

Brighton vs West Ham United – AMEX Stadium

Brighton ($2.46)

West Ham United ($3)

Draw ($3.65)

Two sides that have enjoyed good seasons finish up facing off as Brighton take on West Ham. The Seagulls have improved massively under Graham Potter, and they look to be in a good place to build next summer. West Ham meanwhile gave Manchester City a real scare last time out and they look set to be playing Europa League football once again next season. David Moyes always expects a great deal from his side, and he will want to see them kick on and pick up a last day of the season win here.

Betting tip: West Ham United to win the match ($3) Bet @ Picklebet

West Ham United to win 2-1

Burnley vs Newcastle United – Turf Moor

Burnley ($2.38)

Newcastle United ($3.3)

Draw ($3.5)

It is a similar story for Burnley, who teeter on the edge of the drop zone with just one game to play. The Clarets refuse to give up and find themselves on the cusp of staying up, knowing that a win would secure their Premier League status. Newcastle meanwhile have improved massively under Eddie Howe and are certainly a side to keep an eye on over the summer with plenty of money to spend. Burnley have the crowd behind them, and some momentum and they could get the job done here.

Betting tip: Burnley to win the match ($2.38) Bet @ Picklebet

Burnley to win 2-1

Chelsea vs Watford – Stamford Bridge

Chelsea ($1.2)

Watford ($21)

Draw ($8.5)

Two sides with one eye already on next season face off as Chelsea host Watford. It will be trophyless season for Chelsea domestically and with change afoot off the field, it has been a tough end to the campaign for all associated with the blues. Watford meanwhile are dropping into the Championship next season and have announced that former Forest Green Rovers manager Rob Edwards will be leading them next year. This should be a procession at the bridge, with Chelsea winning comfortably.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.2) Bet @ Picklebet

Chelsea to win 2-0

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United – Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace ($3.1)

Manchester United ($2.42)

Draw ($3.7)

Crystal Palace will be looking to finish the season strongly, as they take on Manchester United. The Eagles have been inconsistent under Patrick Vieira, but they are an exciting side, capable of beating anyone on their day. Manchester United meanwhile are already looking ahead to Erik ten Hag’s arrival, but they have plenty of work to do through the summer. There is very little to split these sides this season and a stalemate could well be on the cards.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.7) Bet @ Picklebet

2-2 Draw

Leicester City vs Southampton – King Power Stadium

Leicester City ($1.87)

Southampton ($4.2)

Draw ($4.2)

Leicester City take on Southampton in what will be an entertaining tie in the East Midlands. The Fixes have endured a tough season under Brendan Rodgers, but recent results have perked up, enabling a positive outlook on the summer ahead for the blues. Southampton meanwhile have huffed and puffed at times this season, but they are very hard to beat, proven by pushing Liverpool all the way last time out. There isn’t much to split these sides, but Leicester City should sneak over the line at home here.

Betting tip: Leicester City to win the match ($1.87) Bet @ Picklebet

Leicester City to win 2-1

Liverpool vs Wolves – Anfield

Liverpool ($1.18)

Wolves ($23)

Draw ($9)

Chasing a quadruple at this stage of the season is testament to just how good Liverpool have been, and the reds will be looking to take another step closer against Wolves. The reds sit 2nd in the table, one point behind Manchester City and they will want to win here to ramp up the pressure on the blues. Wolves meanwhile are a difficult side to beat, both home and away and they won’t roll over, but Liverpool are irresistible currently and they should win well here.

Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.18) Bet @ Picklebet

Liverpool to win 3-0

Manchester City vs Aston Villa – Etihad Stadium

Manchester City ($1.2)

Aston Villa ($21)

Draw ($8.6)

Manchester City stand 1 game away from back-to-back Premier League titles and they know they will need to be at their best here against Aston Villa. City had a wobble against West Ham last time out and know the magnitude of this game here in front of their home fans. Villa meanwhile would love to spoil the party and they have plenty of players capable of hurting City on the break. The blues are generally too good at home though and they should get over the line here.

Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match ($1.2) Bet @ Picklebet

Manchester City to win 2-1

Norwich City vs Tottenham – Carrow Road

Norwich City ($13)

Tottenham ($1.26)

Draw ($7)

Already relegated Norwich City will be looking to finish the season strongly as they take on Tottenham. Dean Smith will be hoping to do enough to stay in the hot seat at Carrow Road next season and getting a result here could do him the world of good. Tottenham meanwhile have their top 4 status in their own hands, and they will be out to qualify for the Champions League next season. This will be tighter than the odds suggest but Tottenham should get the job done here.

Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($1.26) Bet @ Picklebet

Tottenham to win 3-1
