We have expert betting tips for the Champagne Stakes this Saturday at Randwick which features a quality field of six youngsters.
Only a small field lines up in the Group 1, but there is plenty of interest with Fireburn, She’s Extreme and Williamsburg.
We have a runner-by-runner betting guide available for the Champagne Stakes, which runs at 1:15 pm.

Champagne Stakes Form Guide & Tips
1. Let’srollthedice (Best Roughie – $12) Bet @ Neds
We were pleased with Let’srollthedice’ effort in the Sires’ Produce Stakes when rattling off the second-fastest last 600m.
The son of Dundeel should have no problems stretching out to the mile and he handled the wet conditions, so he has every chance to win.
Punters get odds worth taking and he could upset the favourites.
2. Williamsburgh ($8.50) Bet @ Neds
Williamsburgh has shown a liking for wet tracks after scoring consecutive wins at Rosehill and Randwick.
The two-year-old son of Snitzel won by 1.3 lengths against a much easier field last time out, but he will get through conditions without a problem.
Punters get each-way odds and he could continue his winning streak.
3. Counttheheadlights ($26) Bet @ Neds
He finished 7.9 lengths behind Fireburn last start and we don’t think he can turn that performance around.
He hit the line nicely enough after getting too far back, but this is a hot field and we would prefer to see him in something easier.
4. Wealthy Investor ($126) Bet @ Neds
Yet to win a race from five attempts and that’s not going to change. He gets the inside draw which should help, but that’s the only positive we can find.
His opening odds of $251 have firmed into $126, but we don’t think he’ll start much shorter and connections should target an easier race.
5. Fireburn (Best Bet – $1.50) Bet @ Neds
We have backed Fireburn in every start this preparation and we’re not about to jump off her back now.
The two-year-old filly owns five consecutive wins, including the Golden Slipper and Sires’ Produce, so she’s going for the Triple Crown.
Given the way she picked up to beat She’s Extreme last start bodes well and rising in distance won’t do her chances any harm.
She’s an exciting filly who handles all tracks, so she could mature into a champion type.
6. She’s Extreme (Best Each Way – $3.90) Bet @ Neds
She’s Extreme looked the winner in the Sires’ Produce before being run down by Fireburn.
She enjoys wet tracks and is the biggest danger to the favourite again, but she will need to improve to turn the tables.
The fillies look to be the strongest quinella chance again.
