We have expert betting tips for NRL Round 15, which kicks off on Thursday with the St George Dragons vs South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The halfway stage has come and gone, so it’s time to knuckle down. We have our best NRL bets for the week, including Storm vs Broncos and Eels vs Roosters.

7:50pm St George Dragons vs South Sydney Rabbitohs @ WIN Stadium
We were disappointed with the St George Dragons last week and we can’t back them against the Rabbitohs.
The Rabbitohs haven’t been mightily strong but they come off an easy win over the Gold Coast Titans and it’s better form than that of the Dragons.
Punters get a fair line at –4.5, which could move to around 6.5.
Betting tip: South Sydney Rabbitohs –4.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Ladbrokes
Rabbitohs by 8
6:00pm Manly Sea Eagles vs North Queensland Cowboys @ 4 Pines Park
The Cowboys have struggled against the top two teams but they have looked very impressive against the bottom eight.
They were far too good against the Dragons last week, winning 31-12, and we think they can handle the Manly Sea Eagles.
Manly was good against the Tigers but the level opposition wasn’t there. This is a much harder game and we like the $1.65 in head-to-head markets.
Betting tip: North Queensland Cowboys @ $1.65 Bet @ Ladbrokes
Cowboys by 6
7:55pm Melbourne Storm vs Brisbane Broncos @ AAMI Park
The Melbourne Storm are heavy favourites to beat the Brisbane Broncos, despite it being a top-four contest.
They were too strong for the Sydney Roosters despite lacking some star players, but the Broncos were also good winners against the Raiders.
We don’t think there’s 17.5 points between them and we’re prepared to take the Broncos with the sizable advantage.
Betting tip: Brisbane Broncos +17.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Ladbrokes
Storm by 14
3:00pm Cronulla Sharks vs Gold Coast Titans @ Coffs International Stadium
The Cronulla Sharks took care of business against the New Zealand Warriors last week and a repeat could be on the cards.
We have been disappointed with the Titans performances so far, but not too surprised. They continue to regress and it stems from the management.
There is 12.5 points between them with bookmakers, and although it’s a big line for the Sharks to cover, they could easily put up a big score at home.
Betting tip: Cronulla Sharks –12.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Ladbrokes
Sharks by 16
5:30pm New Zealand Warriors vs Penrith Panthers @ Moreton Daily Stadium
The Warriors are paying double-figure odds to win and we’re not surprised after showing little.
They are becoming the whipping boys of the NRL and that’s good news for the Penrith Panthers, who are leading the competition.
We can’t see this game being close in any respect, hence the $1.05 available for the Panthers. They should also cover the –23.5-point spread with ease.
Betting tip: Penrith Panthers –23.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Ladbrokes
Panthers by 28
7:35pm Parramatta Eels vs Sydney Roosters @ CommBank Stadium
It’s hard to get a line on the Sydney Roosters, who are clinging onto a top eight spot but we haven’t been impressed.
The Parramatta Eels have been more consistent and they typically play well during the middle rounds, so we’re taking them to win.
They have less time to prepare for this game but that doesn’t always matter, so take the –3.5 line before it possibly moves to around –4.5.
Betting tip: Parramatta Eels –3.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Ladbrokes
Eels by 6
2:00pm Canberra Raiders vs Newcastle Knights @ GIO Stadium
The Raiders have looked good at times but will need to start showing more consistency to make the playoffs.
They are firm favorites to beat the Newcastle Knights, which says more about how poorly the Knights are playing more than anything else.
We don’t think the Raiders are 10.5 points better than the Knights, so we’re prepared to take the visitors with the start.
Betting tip: Newcastle Knights +10.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Ladbrokes
Raiders by 8
4:05pm Canterbury Bulldogs vs Wests Tigers @ CommBank Stadium
Two of the worst teams in the competition meet as the Bulldogs square off against the Tigers.
Wests Tigers have been average over the last few weeks but they have performed better than the Bulldogs, who occupy 16th position.
The Tigers are the current favourites at $1.71 but we expect little between them in the market on game day.
Betting tip: Wests Tigers @ $1.71 Bet @ Ladbrokes
Tigers by 4
