Thursday 31/03/22

8:05pm Gold Coast Titans vs Wests Tigers @ Cbus Super Stadium

The Gold Coast Titans were narrowly pipped by the Canberra Raiders last week, but they could open up and let loose against the Tigers.

There is much more upside with the Titans and the Tigers come off a loss to the Warriors, which isn’t a good form guide.

Bookmakers have 11.5 points between them, which is a hefty line, but we expect the Titans to win comfortably.

Betting tip: Gold Coast Titans –11.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Titans by 16

Friday 1/04/22

6:00pm Cronulla Sharks vs Newcastle Knights @ PointsBet Stadium

The Sharks flexed their muscles against the St George Dragons last week and the confidence levels should be high.

They were dominant in the 36-12 victory and that’s bad news for the Newcastle Knights, who were manhandled by the Penrith Panthers.

We expect it to be a tight game and punters get +7.5 points for the Knights, which is generous. They should be able to hang around and keep the Sharks honest.

Betting tip: Newcastle Knights +7.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Sharks by 6

8:05pm Penrith Panthers vs South Sydney Rabbitohs @ BlueBet Stadium

The Penrith Panthers have picked up where they left off and they currently lead the NRL.

It was another vintage display of offence against the Knights last week, but they will be tested by the South Sydney Rabbitohs, who were huge against the Roosters.

We don’t think there will be much between them, so getting the Rabbitohs at +7.5 is worth considering on Friday night.

Betting tip: South Sydney Rabbitohs +7.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Panthers by 4

Saturday 2/04/22

3:00pm New Zealand Warriors vs Brisbane Broncos @ Moreton Daily Stadium

It was a joyous occasion for the New Zealand Warriors when beating the Tigers and they could build on that effort.

Not having two of their star players makes it tough, but they’re facing a Brisbane Broncos outfit who are suddenly not so confident.

The Broncos were smashed by the Cowboys, and despite starting the season well, they could lose back-to-back.

Betting tip: New Zealand Warriors +4.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Warriors by 4

5:30pm Manly Sea Eagles vs Canberra Raiders @ Glen Willow Oval

It wasn’t a good game, but the Manly Sea Eagles finally got off the mark with a 13-12 win over the Bulldogs.

We expect the Sea Eagles to steadily improve this season and they’ll need to be good to beat the Raiders, who scored a tough win over the Titans.

Getting a win on the board should help Manly, which is favoured by 6.5 points. It won’t be an easy cover, but this could be their breakout performance.

Betting tip: Manly Sea Eagles –6.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Sea Eagles by 10

7:35pm North Queensland Cowboys vs Sydney Roosters @ Queensland Stadium

The Roosters need to bounce back after a dreadful performance in Round 3, but the Cowboys are full of confidence.

North Queensland were deadly against the Broncos, so that could see it win again with the help of home ground advantage.

There isn’t much confidence with the Roosters anymore, so it could be another disappointing loss for the visitors.

Betting tip: North Queensland Cowboys +6.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Cowboys by 2

Sunday 3/04/22

4:05pm Melbourne Storm vs Canterbury Bulldogs @ AAMI Park

The Melbourne Storm was shocked by the Parramatta Eels last week, so they’ll need to bounce back against the Bulldogs.

They didn’t play too poorly, but they were always playing catch up against the Eels, which is never an ideal situation.

The Bulldogs lost to the Manly Sea Eagles by a point, so it was a close game, but we think the Storm should run over them on Sunday.

Betting tip: Melbourne Storm –13.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Storm by 16

6:15pm Parramatta Eels vs St George Dragons @ CommBank Stadium

The Eels come off a big upset over the Melbourne Storm and that should give them confidence.

They showed their toughness with the four-point victory and we don’t see enough from the Dragons to give them consideration.

Bookmakers agree with the line at 9.5, which the Eels should have little problem in covering. They have too many weapons and the Dragons could come out flat again.

Betting tip: Parramatta Eels –9.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Eels by 12
