7:50pm Canberra Raiders vs North Queensland Cowboys @ GIO Stadium

The Canberra Raiders played well against the Melbourne Storm, but not good enough to secure the victory.

It was another loss for the struggling club, which can’t seem to find any early momentum. However, they’re taking on the Cowboys, who suffered a golden point loss to the Warriors.

It’s tough to separate them, so we’re taking the value odds with the Cowboys at $2.35.

4:00pm South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Canterbury Bulldogs @ Accor Stadium

Despite recruiting well, the losing culture at the Canterbury Bulldogs continues into 2022.

They currently sit in second-to-last position with one win from five rounds. We don’t think their position will change much after Round 6 either.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are the heavy favourites and they should score a comfortable victory. They are improving and this could be their breakout game.

Betting tip: South Sydney Rabbitohs –10.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

7:55pm Penrith Panthers vs Brisbane Broncos @ BlueBet Stadium

The Penrith Panthers continue to destroy any team in their path and that should be the case again against the Brisbane Broncos.

There isn’t much to get excited about for the Broncos, who are out of the top eight and struggling to find their confidence.

Penrith should be able to score an easy win and continue their march towards the minor premiership.

Betting tip: Penrith Panthers –19.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

5:30pm Manly Sea Eagles vs Gold Coast Titans @ 4 Pines Park

Despite dealing with some injury concerns, the Manly Sea Eagles eased past the Newcastle Knights last week.

It was an encouraging performance, but beating the Gold Coast Titans won’t be easy, as betting markets suggest.

It’s a close market after the Titans pushed the Eels close. There is confidence with the visitors and they could be poised for an upset result.

Take the Titans at the value odds before they firm throughout the week.

7:35pm Melbourne Storm vs Cronulla Sharks @ AAMI Park

Top teams clash on Saturday night as the Melbourne Storm and Cronulla Sharks do battle.

The Storm have looked better so far and they bounced back from a loss with a comfortable win over the Raiders last week.

Cronulla were too good for the Tigers, but the level of opposition wasn’t anywhere close to what they’ll face.

Bookmakers have the Storm as –8.5 favourites and we think they’ll be too good.

Betting tip: Melbourne Storm –8.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

2:00pm Sydney Roosters vs New Zealand Warriors @ SCG

The New Zealand Warriors have surprised so far, but they will need to play better to beat the Roosters.

Sydney has made its way up the leaderboard and it hasn’t hit top gear yet. That’s a scary thought, but the Warriors always lift their game on Anzac weekend.

Bookmakers have 14.5 points the difference and the Warriors should be able to keep the game close enough.

Betting tip: New Zealand Warriors +14.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet

Roosters by 10

4:05pm St George Dragons vs Newcastle Knights @ WIN Stadium

We haven’t seen enough from the Dragons or the Knights to bet on them with confidence, but we’re happy to take the odds with the Knights.

There isn’t much between them, so we couldn’t back the Dragons at $1.54, which is too short for a team playing without confidence.

It’s a game that could go either way, but we’ll take the underdog in this situation.

Betting tip: Newcastle Knights @ $2.50 Bet @ Picklebet

4:00pm Parramatta Eels vs Wests Tigers @ CommBank Stadium

The Parramatta Eels are heavy favourites to beat the Wests Tigers and it’s not hard to see why.

The Tigers have been the worst team by some margin and there are plenty of points in the Eels, so they could produce a big total.

We expect the Tigers to struggle throughout the season, and although 20.5 points is a big margin, the Eels could win by 30.

Betting tip: Parramatta Eels –20.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Picklebet
