7:50pm Western Bulldogs vs St Kilda Saints @ Marvel Stadium
The Western Bulldogs and St Kilda Saints were soundly beaten last week but we’re surprised by the odds for this game.
We didn’t expect to see the Bulldogs favoured to beat the Saints, despite the visitors being hammered by the Fremantle Dockers last week.
The edge is with the Saints to bounce back and the $2.02 is a value price.
Betting tip: St Kilda Saints @ $2.02 Bet @ Neds

1:45pm Adelaide Crows vs Collingwood Magpies @ Adelaide Oval
The Collingwood Magpies produced an incredible fourth quarter comeback to avoid an embarrassing defeat to the Kangaroos last week.
We’re not sure how to rate the performance, but limiting the Kangaroos to only two fourth-quarter points was a stout defensive effort.
Adelaide lost poorly to Hawthorn and we expect most of the money to come for Collingwood, despite playing on the road.
Betting tip: Collingwood Magpies –15.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Neds

1:45pm GWS Giants vs Brisbane Lions @ Manuka Oval
The Brisbane Lions were shocked by the Essendon Bombers last week, so they need to regain their confidence and get back on the horse.
The same can be said for the Giants, who were trounced by the Port Adelaide Power 84-29 in a one-sided affair in Round 17.
We’re sticking with the Lions to get back to their best form and bookmakers have a generous points spread line available.
Betting tip: Brisbane Lions –14.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Neds

4:35pm North Melbourne Kangaroos vs Richmond Tigers @ Marvel Stadium
Despite the Richmond Tigers taking a tough loss by two points to the Gold Coast Suns, they get an easy bounce-back game against the Kangaroos.
North Melbourne blew a huge chance to win its second game of the season against the Magpies, scoring just two points in the final quarter.
It was a big choke job from the home side and the flow-on effect could result in another big loss on Saturday afternoon, so take Richmond to win and cover the spread.
Betting tip: Richmond Tigers –45.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Neds

7:25pm Carlton Blues vs Geelong Cats @ MCG
Carlton got back to its best with an easy win over the hapless West Coast Eagles but a much harder game comes against the red-hot Geelong Cats.
The Cats scored a big 91-63 win over the Melbourne Demons last week, and although impressive, this could be a let-down spot for them.
The Blues are paying $2.37 to win outright and those odds are too good to pass up. This is a good situation for them and we’re taking the value available.
Betting tip: Carlton Blues @ $2.37 Bet @ Neds

7:30pm Fremantle Dockers vs Sydney Swans @ Optus Stadium
We loved the performance from the Fremantle Dockers last week and punters got generous odds on that occasion.
They are much shorter against the Sydney Swans this week but we’re backing them again. The Dockers are pushing for the minor premiership and the –12.5 line against a team like the Swans is good shopping.
The Dockers could continue their march and put away the Swans in fine style.
Betting tip: Fremantle Dockers –12.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Neds

1:10pm Hawthorn Hawks vs West Coast Eagles @ MCG
The Hawks took care of business last week against the Adelaide Crows and they should take care of the West Coast Eagles this week.
The Eagles have been terrible this season and we don’t see that changing anytime soon, so this is an ideal chance for the Hawks to continue their winning streak.
Bookmakers have the margin at 21.5, so it’s not an easy cover but the Eagles haven’t been putting up much of a fight.
Betting tip: Hawthorn Hawks –21.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Neds

3:20pm Melbourne Demons vs Port Adelaide Power @ TIO Park
It has been a tough stretch for the Melbourne Demons but we think they bounce back against Port Adelaide.
They weren’t able to break the shackles against Geelong last week but the Power can be inconsistent and that’s why we’re leaning towards the Demons.
The current line of –14.5 is generous for Melbourne as it can put away better teams by more, so take the favourites to get back to its best.
Betting tip: Melbourne Demons –14.5 @ $1.90 Bet @ Neds

4:40pm Essendon Bombers vs Gold Coast Suns @ Marvel Stadium
Essendon pulled out of the hat last week when beating Brisbane 100-90, so we’re not surprised that it’s being respected with bookmakers at $2.18.
Gold Coast looked good beating the Richmond Tigers, so they’re going to be tough to beat based on that effort.
We don’t see much between them, so because we’re getting a better price for Essendon, it’s going on the ticket.
Betting tip: Essendon Bombers @ $2.18 Bet @ Neds
