Beaudesert horse racing tips & form

Race 1. (12:48) Brave Smash Maiden (2450m)

#2 – Monaco Deluxe – Bet @ Sportsbet

Monaco Deluxe is getting close to a win after running second at Sunshine Coast last start.

The six-year-old gelding has yet to win from 11 starts, but he owns five placings and drawing barrier two is ideal.

He’s the best horse in the race and he should break through.

Race 2. (13:23) Lean Mean Machine Maiden (1200m)

#1 – Mexican Star – Bet @ Sportsbet

Mexican Star is another runner knocking on the door after posting nine placings from 11 starts.

The four-year-old mare owns five placings at the distance, and although yet to race on the track, it should suit.

2kg comes off her back and she should be well-backed on race day.

Race 3. (13:58) Sky Racing Maiden (1200m)

#2 – A Call from Heaven – Bet @ Sportsbet

A Call from Heaven ran second on debut at Doomben behind Dusty Diamond, which is an excellent form guide.

The three-year-old filly was under a length behind the winner and she should be the short-priced favorite to take it out.

Samantha Collett takes the ride and we’re expecting big things.

Race 4. (14:33) Sky Racing Maiden (1200m)

#2 – Hinson – Bet @ Sportsbet

Hinson had five trials before debuting at Kilcoy where he finished second over 800m.

The three-year-old son of Snitzel had solid betting support and he ran slightly better than expected, so there’s no reason why he can’t measure up here.

It’s another good ride for Collett so put him on top.

Race 5. (15:12) Sky Racing BM65 (1200m)

#1 – Coup – Bet @ Sportsbet

Coup owns five wins and eight placings from 24 starts, so he’s always around the mark and we fancy his chances.

The five-year-old son of Mahisara comes off a fourth at Ipswich in heavy conditions and he should be suited by slightly firmer conditions.

He gets 1.5kg off his back to help with the weight.

Race 6. (15:52) Beaudesertraceclub Maiden (1200m)

#3 – Za Hidden Dragon – Bet @ Sportsbet

Looking to improve on back-to-back second placings is Za Hidden Dragon, who was only 1.8 lengths behind the winner last start.

The three-year-old son of Hidden Dragon has been primed with two trial efforts at Gold Coast, so he is ready to go.

Punters should follow betting moves.

Race 7. (16:32) Beauyraces BM78 (1400m)

#6 – Mix – Bet @ Sportsbet

Mix keeps winning after notching three on the bounce this season. The four-year-old won by 2.5 lengths last start and he is a nice type in the making.

Rising in distance shouldn’t do him any harm and we expect big bets to come for the favourite on race day.

Watch the market with interest.

Race 8. (17:15) Brave Smash BM60 (2450m)

#5 – Bury Road – Bet @ Sportsbet

Bury Road doesn’t have the best form coming into this race, but we’re prepared to give him another chance.

The four-year-old son of Frankel has been facing similar fields and battling, but with the inside draw and Collett riding, he should be in the mix.

Look for double-figure odds.

Race 9. (17:55) Lean Mean Machine C2 Plate (1100m)

#11 – Asherla – Bet @ Sportsbet

Asherla comes from the powerful Kris Lees stable and her fresh up win at Doomben rates highly.

The three-year-old filly by Astern owns two wins and three placings from nine starts, so class is on her side.

Barrier four is ideal and big bets should come her way.
