Friday Horse Racing Tips – Friday, April 1st 2022

We have expert betting tips for the cards this Friday at Muswellbrook and Cranbourne.

There is plenty of value available with bookmakers at the Friday meetings and we have our best bets across the cards.

All odds are with Ladbrokes. You can join Ladbrokes by clicking HERE.

Race 1. (13:50) Hollydene Estate Wine Maiden (1280m)

#5 – Hombre @ $3.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Hombre has scored three consecutive second placings and he has found a winnable race on Friday.

The three-year-old son of Exceed and Excel finished a half-length behind the winner last start and he should go close here.

1.5kg comes off his back and punters get odds worth taking.

Race 3. (14:25) Scone Equine Hospital C2 Handicap (1000m)

#5 – Salire @ $2.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Salire already owns two wins from four starts and one of those came at Muswellbrook two back.

The Cameron Crockett-trained gelding won by 3.5 lengths in a dominant display before running second at Mudgee last time out.

Getting $2.80 is a fair price given his talent and we think he can rise through the grades without too much trouble.

Race 5. (15:40) Tab Country Magic C3 Handicap (1450m)

#2 – Impactful @ $7 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Impactful comes off a win at Coonamble and he should have every chance to win back-to-back races.

The Cody Morgan-trained son of Deep Impact has yet to race on the track, but it should suit and he has handled soft conditions.

We’re surprised by the $7 available, so take the odds before they firm.

Race 6. (16:20) Horsepower Skellatar Sprint (1000m)

#8 – Satin Ribbons @ $3.70 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Satin Ribbons is a three-year-old filly who is a natura speedster and we like her chances fresh up.

The daughter of Capitalist owns three wins and two placings from five starts and she comes off consecutive trial wins.

She’ll head forward and she should have too much pace for this field.

Race 1. (18:15) Tac If We Get Home Safely Maiden (1000m)

#9 – Capital Express @ $2.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Capital Express looked good at the jumpouts when finishing second at Flemington and she wasn’t let off the bit.

The two-year-old filly by Ilovethiscity was only a cheap $25,000 purchase, but she looks well-placed for a debut win.

Getting the inside draw is ideal and she has upside.

Race 3. (18:45) Skye Excavations Maiden (1000m)

#7 – Sunday Yum Cha @ $2.15 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Sunday Yum Cha had solid betting support on debut when running third behind Profiteer and that form has been franked at the highest level.

She hasn’t raced since 2020, so there has been a problem, but betting suggests she’s at her best for her return.

Her recent trial was good at Cranbourne and having track experience helps.

Race 6. (20:15) John Duff & Co BM64 (1500m)

#1 – Invincible Bay @ $2.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Invincible Bay won at Werribee three back before placing at Pakenham and then running fourth at Flemington.

He paid $101 at Flemington, so he exceeded expectations and the four-year-old is paying much shorter odds on Friday night.

He’s a past winner at Cranbourne and the drop in class helps.

Race 8. (21:15) Night Racing BM64 (1000m)

#11 – Sistine Explorer @ $3.40 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Sistine Explorer hasn’t done much wrong in five career starts, including a win and two placings.

The three-year-old filly didn’t fire last start, but she does her best racing fresh up and she could hit the ground running.

Drawing barrier two is ideal for an on-pace runner, so put her on top.
