Tamworth

Race 2. (13:05) GTS Lawnpride Country Maiden (1000m)

#3 – Go Seeking @ $3.10 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Go Seeking is unbeaten at the trials and the three-year-old comes from a handy stable.

The son of Sebring comes off a 1.5-length trial win at Scone and he should be forward enough to show up on debut.

The early betting signs have been positive and punters are still getting fair odds.

Race 3. (13:45) Dynamic Fire Maiden (1400m)

#6 – Hombre @ $2.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Cody Morgan lines up the three-year-old gelding who has rattled off four consecutive second placings.

The son of Exceed and Excel wasn’t far behind the winner at Muswellbrook last time out and a repeat of that effort could see him winning.

Getting the inside draw with William Pike in the saddle adds to his chances.

Race 5. (15:05) Shay Brennan Constructions C1 (1400m)

#5 – The Dramatist @ $2.45 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

The Dramatist has finished in the money in four of his five starts and he demands attention in this race.

He is a son of Shamus Award who won at Scone two back by five lengths before running second behind Outburst by a nose.

Drawing barrier 13 is a negative, but he has the class to overcome it.

Race 7. (16:20) Tamworth Toyota Tamworth Cup (1400m)

#7 – Kinloch @ $4.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Kinloch is shooting for three consecutive wins and the most recent came in a Highway Handicap at Randwick.

The four-year-old gelding is a five-time winner from 13 starts, so he’s a professional type that could have the class edge over this field.

Carrying 54kg is ideal and punters can still get each-way odds.

Cranbourne

Race 2. (18:15) Silks Cranbourne Maiden (1200m)

#7 – Impel @ $3.30 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Impel showed enough in two starts last preparation to warrant attention and we think she won’t take long to win.

The Graeme Begg-trained filly ran seventh on debut at Caulfield before finishing sixth at Flemington behind See You in Heaven.

This is much easier and she should fire up.

Race 4. (19:15) R&C Asphalt & Paving Maiden (1000m)

#9 – Tinge @ $2.35 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

James Cummings lines up the three-year-old filly who owns four placings from nine starts and shouldn’t take long to win.

She finished second at Cranbourne last time out and despite being five lengths behind the winner, she should derive benefit from the effort.

Money has come for her and that’s not surprising.

Race 6. (20:15) O’Brien Real Estate BM64 (1600m)

#7 – Italian Poet @ $3.70 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Italian Poet was too smart for them at Kilmore last time out and he could rise through the grades now.

The three-year-old son of Zacinto was backed and beaten on more than one occasion, but he is worth following and punters get fair odds.

It could pay to follow betting moves on race day.

Race 8. (21:15) John Duff & Co BM64 (1000m)

#4 – Sniper Legend @ $2.40 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Sniper Legend owns two wins and three placings from six starts, so he is always tough to hold out.

The John Sadler-trained three-year-old comes off a win at Sandown and he often finds his best form early in the campaign.

Carrying 61kg makes it harder but punters should be confident with his chances of success.
