Friday Horse Racing Tips – Friday, July 22nd 2022

We have expert betting tips for the cards this Friday at Mildura and Tamworth.

There is plenty of value available with bookmakers at the Friday meetings and we have our best bets across the cards.

Tried our top rated bookmakers?

Mildura

Race 1. (12:05) Sunraysia Daily Maiden (1400m)

#3 – Mr News @ $2 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Mr News showed good pace in a recent jumpout at Flemington when finishing second and the money has been put on.

The three-year-old son of Xtravagant opened short at $2.15 but that didn’t deter punters, who have backed him into $2.

Getting the inside draw is ideal and we’re in his camp.

Race 2. (12:40) Lime Therapy Maiden (2000m)

#6 – Spirit De Lune @ $3.80 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

The four-year-old gelding is getting close to posting a win after seven placings from 12 starts and punters get odds worth taking.

He comes off a second placing at Murtoa in heavy conditions, so handling the track isn’t a problem and he should be tough to beat.

We expect money to come for him late in the piece.

Race 4. (13:50) Tankard Dental BM64 (1200m)

#4 – In Her Stride @ $2.90 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Looking to score four wins from five starts this preparation is In Her Stride, who won her only start at Mildura.

The three-year-old daughter of Stratum Star comes off a 1.3-length win at Donald and we always like form out of Donald.

She’s firing and she only needs luck from the wide draw.

Race 6. (15:00) Trentham Gold Goblet BM70 (1000m)

#1 – Sixbysixtythree @ $3 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

The four-year-old didn’t fire at Sandown last start but he has been prepped with a trial effort at Tatura.

He is a smart type on his day with three wins from six starts, including a win in soft conditions last preparation.

Most of the money has come for him and his odds could continue to firm.

Tamworth

Race 1. (12:30) NRL in Tamworth Maiden (1400m)

#6 – Oakfield Redgum – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Oakfield Redgum is getting close to posting her maiden win after running fourth at Muswellbrook last start.

The daughter of Dundeel is in good hands and she should be fitter for two runs back from a spell. Therefore, punters should be confident of a big effort.

We expect the money to come for her late.

Race 3. (13:40) Sky Racing Maiden (1000m)

#6 – Russian Standard – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Getting close to a win is Russian Standard, who owns three placings from five starts.

The three-year-old son of Capitalist hasn’t raced since February when placing at Kembla Grange, but he has since added a trial win at Tamworth to his record.

We expect a fine return to racing for Russian Standard.

Race 5. (14:50) TJC Welcomes P Chalmers BM58 (1600m)

#11 – Lady Audrey – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Lady Audrey is seeking consecutive wins following a successful run at Taree where she scored emphatically by 5.5 lengths.

The three-year-old might have taken 12 runs to get off the mark but it came easily and she could cope with the rise in class.

Barrier two is ideal and she could add value.

Race 7. (16:10) Kosciuszko Tickets on Sale C2 (1200m)

#3 – Lonely Power – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Lonely Power would have appreciated the fresh up run at Newcastle and he can build on that effort.

The son of Star Witness owns two wins and two placings from six starts, so he’s rarely out of the money and that consistency helps.

We expect most of the money to come for Lonely Power, who could add another win to his record.
