Randwick horse racing tips

Race 1. (11:20) Tab Highway C3 Plate (1800m)

#1 – Relucent @ $7.50 – Bet @ Bet365

Punters get excellent value with Relucent, who has been showing solid form in Queensland.

The six-year-old is only a three-time winner, so he will need to produce the goods. However, he’s consistent enough to warrant attention.

Punters get each-way odds to enjoy.

Race 2. (11:55) Midway BM72 (1800m)

#1 – Highly Desired @ $4.60 – Bet @ Bet365

Highly Desired is shooting for his 10th career win after scoring at Warwick Farm last start and he could go back-to-back.

The eight-year-old enjoys racing with the sting out of the ground and he comes off a three-length victory.

3kg comes off his back to help with the weight.

Race 3. (12:30) RMHC Sydney BM78 (2400m)

#2 – Our Candidate @ $6 – Bet @ Bet365

Our Candidate is another runner who enjoys racing in these conditions and his record at the distance also reads well.

The son of Camelot won by Grafton by two lengths as a $1.30 favourite and punters get much better odds this time around.

Take the each-way odds available.

Race 4. (13:05) Jockey Celebration BM72 (1400m)

#13 – Conqueror @ $2.10 – Bet @ Bet365

Conqueror could be a nice type in the making after winning on debut at Randwick and the form has stacked up brilliantly.

The colt by Churchill has looked good at the trials since and we expect him to hit the ground running this preparation.

Expect the $2.10 to stay firm on race day.

Race 5. (13:40) Bisley Workwear BM78 (1300m)

#9 – Daralina Belle @ $3.60 – Bet @ Bet365

Looking to score back-to-back wins is Daralina Belle, who won at Caulfield last start by a nose.

The five-year-old mare has been freshened with a trial win at Rosehill and that should top her off nicely for this run.

Getting in with 55.5kg is ideal, so expect a top effort.

Race 6. (14:15) NSW Jockeys Reunion BM78 (1000m)

#1 – Maotai @ $3.10 – Bet @ Bet365

Maotai has class on his side and he’s unbeaten in two fresh up runs, so he’s the one to beat on Saturday.

The Kacy Fogden-trained gelding comes off a tidy trial placing at Randwick and it’s good to see early money coming for him.

The inside draw is ideal and the odds appeal.

Race 7. (14:55) Recovery Partners Cup Prelude (1800m)

#6 – Lord Ardmore @ $3.10 – Bet @ Bet365

Lord Ardmore was heavily backed last start and the former Kiwi got the job done for punters.

The five-year-old son of Reliable Man won by two lengths against a similar field and he could produce the goods again.

Carrying a light weight make him the obvious top pick.

Race 8. (15:35) Expedo Missile Stakes (1200m)

#3 – Forbidden Love @ $3 – Bet @ Bet365

Class is with Forbidden Love, who has won over $2.1 million and she could add to that tally on Saturday.

The five-year-old daughter of All Too Hard showed her true class during the autumn when she dominated her class.

We’re happy with the $3 available and the odds could shorten.

Race 9. (16:15) NSW Jockeys Association BM78 (1600m)

#1 – Bold Mac @ $6.50 – Bet @ Bet365

Bold Mac is a former Kiwi who has won his last two races, including his Australian debut at Rosehill.

The Chris Waller-trained gelding won by a nose over Blesk last start and we expect that form to hold up nicely.

Punters get each-way odds to enjoy.

Race 10. (16:50) Verto BM78 (1200m)

#1 – Glittery @ $5.50 – Bet @ Bet365

Punters have been getting value with James Cummings-trained runners and Glittery could add to the mix.

The four-year-old mare is already a two-time winner this campaign and punters get $5.50 to enjoy, so it’s a good price.

We’re expecting another tidy effort from the loose favourite.
