We have expert betting tips for the cards this Sunday at Geelong and Muswellbrook.
There is plenty of value available with bookmakers at the Sunday meetings and we have our best bets across the cards.

Race 1. (12:20) Bet365 Odds Drift Protect Maiden (1212m)
#5 – Happy Family @ $6.50 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Happy Family has looked solid in two jumpouts at Cranbourne and we’re happy with the odds available on debut.
The two-year-old colt finished second in a jumpout and he’s a half to Victoria Quay, so we expect him to find form early.
Watch for any late betting moves in his direction.
Race 2. (12:55) Danny Beranic Conveyancing Maiden (1412m)
#5 – Native Girl @ $3.10 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Native Girl was solid when running second at Pakenham last start and it won’t take her long to break maiden grades.
The three-year-old filly has placed twice at the distance and her only bad effort came when running ninth at Flemington behind Willowy.
She’s a nice type and we thought she would be paying around $2.10.
Race 5. (14:40) Geelong Milk & Pivot Ice BM58 (2418m)
#1 – Goondiwindi @ $4.20 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Goondiwindi showed a return to form when running second at Moe last start and a repeat of that sees him winning.
The four-year-old son of Australia looked to have a bright future early but he hasn’t lived up to expectations. However, we’re sticking with him.
Punters get each-way odds and they’re worth snapping.
Race 6. (15:20) Grovedale Meats BM70 (1112m)
#6 – Rights of Man @ $3.40 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Rights of Man turned his form around with a win at Warrnambool and he’s a smart type on his day.
The four-year-old scored by a nose as a $6 chance and we’re not surprised to see his odds firm for this run.
He is unbeaten in two starts over the distance and the heavy conditions shouldn’t be a problem.
Race 2. (13:25) G Cribb Memorial Red Crown Handicap (900m)
#9 – Kissaki @ $3.30 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Kissaki is on debut for Paul Messara and she has attracted plenty of betting interest.
The two-year-old filly by Street Boss comes off a trial win at Scone and it came by 3.5 lengths, so she has ability.
We expect the $3.30 to continue to form and she could start at around $2.50.
Race 3. (14:00) Muswellbrook Security Services C2 (1450m)
#8 – Show Me Your Love @ $3.70 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Kris Lees lines up the three-year-old filly who comes off an easy maiden win at Mudgee in heavy conditions.
The daughter of So You Think opened at $4.20 and has firmed throughout the week, which isn’t a shock and she should be tough to beat.
Getting cover from barrier 14 is our only worry but she will likely push forward.
Race 5. (15:15) Snowden Racing BM66 (1000m)
#3 – Cinque Torri @ $2.90 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Cinque Torri scored back-to-back wins earlier this preparation and his recent trial form reads well.
The three-year-old son of I Am Invincible scored a trial win at Warwick Farm in heavy conditions and that should top him off nicely.
He can need a run to find his best but this field is there for the taking.
Race 7. (16:30) Shorty Cribb Aberdeen Cup (1280m)
#11 – Ceasefire @ $2.70 – Bet @ Ladbrokes
Ceasefire could come out firing following an impressive victory at Muswellbrook last time out.
The four-year-old hit the line powerfully to score by two lengths and he has always had ability. He’s a four-time winner and two of them have come on this track.
His odds are drifting but we wouldn’t bet against him.
