The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.38PM TAB Fanta Bale Superstayers Heat One – 725 metres

#4 Fantastic Radley – Bet @ Sportsbet

Taking a bit of a leap backing this South Australian coming across but he’s been prepared to the minute for this race and will look to continue the good fortune of SA dogs in Victoria.

Had dominated the scene at home with a mix of pace and sustained speed that see him up front early and not tiring late.

Race 2. 7.00PM TAB Fanta Bale Superstayers Heat Two – 725 metres

#2 Knicks Bale – Bet @ Sportsbet

She gets plenty of her side here, does her best racing up on speed and looks the leader from a perfect draw in box two.

Has been back in Victoria for a couple of weeks now off a Queensland campaign and will look to add another Group One staying final to her resume with her trademark bold front running style.

Race 3. 7.18PM TAB Fanta Bale Superstayers Heat Three – 725 metres

#2 Frankie Boy – Bet @ Sportsbet

Sticking with the South Australian theme here, the only thing stopping this dog from Group One stardom is himself, has a penchant to get a bit playoff when he finds the front.

If he times he run at the right time can blow right past them as he almost did in a strong lead up race here last week, should come up at a price too.

Race 4. 7.40PM TAB Fanta Bale Superstayers Heat Four – 725 metres

#1 Overflow Lisa – Bet @ Sportsbet

Swept home to beat Frankie Boy in that race last week and is hitting her straps at the right time for a Group one assault notching up victories across the state.

She’s a backmarker who’ll give them a sight, but confidence is key and finding the line first last week will be a big help as will box one.

Race 5. 7.58PM TAB Australian Cup Heat One – 525 metres

#2 King of Calypso – Bet @ Sportsbet

This dog has come a long way in the last six months going from a talented fifth grader to beating some of the best dogs in Victoria over the sprint and middle-distance trips.

Generally begins with them and if he can stay within a couple of lengths on the first turn should make up ground the entire run home at a juicy each-way price.

Race 6. 8.20PM TAB Australian Cup Heat Two – 525 metres

#1 True Collinda – Bet @ Sportsbet

Just found box eight a bit too tricky in last weeks Group One, she’s only had a couple of runs back from a spell and in hindsight it was a big ask.

Her first win back was from this box at track and trip, she won’t lead them early but drawn the pole will weave her way through to be right in the finish.

Race 7. 8.38PM TAB Australian Cup Heat Three – 525 metres

#3 Aston Rupee – Bet @ Sportsbet

He’s the fastest dog in Australia and even though every once in a while he misses it you’d be mad not to have him on top here off his Sandown lead in runs.

He comes up against some Group One talent in box one and two, so he’ll have to be on his game, but he’s been nothing below the best dog in the country of late.

Race 8. 8.58PM TAB Australian Cup Heat Four – 525 metres

#6 Jungle Deuce – Bet @ Sportsbet

Probably held the mantle of best dog in the country before last week having rattled of consecutive Group One’s and a Group Two over two states.

Still has to tick the box here in Victoria and missed a chance in the Rookie rebel last week, but you can’t keep a good dog down and his immense field sense should see him get his chance here.

Race 9. 9.20PM Tab Australian Cup Heat Five – 525 metres

#4 Fabriola Ximenez – Bet @ Sportsbet

Let punters down last week after a couple of cracking wins he just didn’t begin and against speedy company couldn’t keep up over the sprint.

He’ll be better for that run and should secure the box seat behind quick beginner Spotted Elk here from where he can run on over the top of her.

Race 10. 9.40PM TAB Australian Cup Heat Six – 525 metres

#1 Typhoon Sammy – Bet @ Sportsbet

This dog is an absolute jet, recently broke through for a long overdue Group win at the Traralgon Cup and has just kept on winning since.

The only question with him is a strong five hundred, but with his first and second splits he could be far enough in front for it not to matter how he goes late.

Race 11. 10.00PM TAB Australian Cup Heat Seven – 525 metres

#2 Aston Titan – Bet @ Sportsbet

Already a Group Three winner here’s another dog looking to graduate to Group One status, and the prolific winner comes in with the right form just off the Horsham track record last time out.

His personal best of well under thirty seconds came from this draw at The Meadows, he’ll be making the running early and late.

Race 12. 10.22PM TAB Australian Cup Heat Eight – 525 metres

#6 Orchestrate – Bet @ Sportsbet

Didn’t fire as some expected him to in the Queensland Summer carnival, but trialled brilliantly here last week.

Owns one of the best first sections in Australia on his day and can fly across from box six here take up the running and not be caught with newfound strength.
