There is plenty of value available with bookmakers at the Thursday meetings and we have our best bets across the cards.

All odds are with Ladbrokes. You can join Ladbrokes by clicking HERE.

Race 2. (18:15) Momentum Gaming Maiden (1200m)

#5 – Bahama @ $4.60 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Bahama is better than her form suggests and she could score her maiden win on Thursday.

The three-year-old daughter of Redoute’s Choice comes off a tough race at Kembla Grange and heading to Victoria could be the best thing for her.

Punters get each-way odds and they’re worth taking.

Race 3. (18:45) 9mile Fresh Maiden (1400m)

#8 – Native Girl @ $2.10 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Three-year-old filly Native Girl ran well enough behind some smart types at Flemington last start and dropping to maiden class helps.

She had shown ability prior with a debut placing at Moe before running four lengths behind the winner in open class company.

Getting an inside barrier is ideal and the money has come.

Race 6. (20:15) K Hazlett Takes Sportsbet BM70 (1200m)

#1 – Blood Oath @ $4.40 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Blood Oath is a four-time winner who needed the fresh up run at Bairnsdale and his second-up form reads well.

The seven-year-old owns two wins from three second-up starts, so he loves the fitness and he’s also a three-time winner at the distance.

Racing on good tracks is ideal and we’re confident of a big effort at each-way odds.

Race 8. (21:15) Sportsbet Bet with Mates BM64 (1600m)

#6 – Carlisle @ $2.90 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Carlisle comes off a second placing at Pakenham and we fancy his chances of going of one better.

The John Moloney-trained three-year-old won at Werribee three back and it won’t take him long to score another victory.

Having Damien Oliver in the saddle is a bonus and we expect money to come for him on race night.

Race 2. (13:35) Wyong Race Club Function Maiden (1600m)

#3 – Duke of Gordon @ $3 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Duke of Gordon is improving with every run to date after finishing third at Scone last time out.

The three-year-old gelding was only a length behind the winner on the heavy surface, so he doesn’t mind running in the wet.

Most of the money has come his way since markets opened.

Race 4. (14:45) Huckel Excavations Maiden (1200m)

#1 – Aircraftman @ $2.30 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Aircraftman should have won a race by now after notching three placings from seven starts.

The three-year-old gelding by Starcraft comes off a second placing at Canterbury and it came behind a smart type in The Art of Flying.

We expect him to be right in the thick of the finish.

Race 6. (15:55) Go Electrical BM64 (1300m)

#3 – Never Cry @ $3.70 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Never Cry is a wet track specialist after winning at Hawkesbury by a length last time out.

It was a professional outing from the three-year-old son of Pride of Dubai, who gets a 1.5kg claimer in the saddle.

It’s a strong field for this level of racing, but he can handle the class.

Race 7. (16:30) Carlton Draught BM64 (1000m)

#5 – Suprina @ $4.20 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Suprina is shooting for four wins on the bounce and there is no reason why she can’t complete the feat on Thursday.

The four-year-old mare handles all tracks, and although her recent form has come on good surfaces, she is more than capable of handling the heavy.

Punters get each-way odds for the risk and she’s on top of our selections.
