There is plenty of value available with bookmakers at the Thursday meetings and we have our best bets across the cards.

Tried our top rated bookmakers?

Race 1. (12:25) Publicans Day 19 July Maiden (1200m)

#6 – Snow Business @ $2.05 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Snow Business ran some tidy races last preparation, including a second placing on debut at Geelong.

The three-year-old filly followed it up with a fourth at Geelong and she could return in fine form on Thursday.

It’s not a tough field and that’s reflected in betting markets.

Race 3. (13:30) Global Turf Maiden Plate (1100m)

#6 – The Great Houdini @ $3.30 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

The Great Houdini looked better than average in two jumpouts at Flemington and that form stacks up well on debut.

The son of Written Tycoon is bred to handle wet tracks and there has been solid betting support throughout the week.

It could pay to watch betting moves on race day with the Hawkes-trained runner.

Race 5. (14:30) Sportsbet Bet with Mates Maiden (1400m)

#1 – Cisalpine @ $3.50 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Cisapline hasn’t done much wrong in two race day starts and the Chris Waller-trained runner has been well-backed.

The three-year-old son of Toronado ran second on debut at Kilmore before finishing fourth at Sale behind some nice types.

It’s solid form for this level of racing and the odds appeal.

Race 7. (15:30) Hygain Winners Choice (1400m)

#6 – Aspen Colorado @ $4.50 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Aspen Colorado broke maiden by six lengths before rattling off three consecutive placings, which is handy form at this level.

The four-year-old son of Sea the Moon has run well over longer distances but he ran second at his only 1400m start.

It’s a good sign and we like the each-way odds available.

Race 1. (12:10) North Building & Construction Maiden (1200m)

#3 – Fairey Barracuda @ $2.20 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

The Kris Lees-trained mare showed good early form last preparation and she could hit the ground running.

She started her career with consecutive placings at Gosford and Tuncurry, so having experience on the track is ideal.

Getting 1.5kg off her back and the inside draw helps.

Race 2. (12:45) Dahlsens BM64 (2600m)

#2 – Funambulist @ $2.25 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Funambulist owns a win and five second placings from eight starts, so he’s never too far away from the prize.

The four-year-old son of New Bay scored his maiden win at Hawkesbury two starts back by 5.3 lengths before running second in a harder race.

2kg comes off his back and his odds could firm to around $1.90.

Race 5. (14:35) Hume Doors & Timber C1 Handicap (1000m)

#7 – Alicia Roma @ $2.25 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Alicia Roma showed ability during her first preparation with a debut win at Tamworth and a placing at Muswellbrook.

The three-year-old daughter of Your Song comes off consecutive trial placings and she should be ready to fire with 55.5kg on her back.

There has been solid betting support since markets opened and the support could continue.

Race 7. (15:50) Kckn Chkn BM64 (1200m)

#9 – Oakfield Mahogany @ $6 – Bet @ Ladbrokes

Drawing barrier 19 isn’t ideal for the son of Capitalist but he has looked impressive in winning two of his three starts.

The three-year-old won at Gosford last time out in heavy conditions and punters get excellent odds for the risk.

His turn-of-foot last start was excellent and that should win him many more races.
