Traralgon Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.52PM GRV Vic Bred Series Heat One Mixed 6/7 – 395 metres

#4 Wild Bob – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has got back to some of his early career winning form after struggling up the straight at Healsville seems much better suited to the one turn here.

He might be giving the favourite in box two a slight head start, but will be motoring when it matters with 440 metre form to his name.

Race 2. 7.11PM GRV Vic Bred Series Heat Two Mixed 6/7 – 395 metres

#8 Rickety Rick – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been slow out of the blocks in his career but is getting quicker out of the boxes with each start and has found some consistent manners of late.

Most encouraging are his performances from wide boxes over similar distances, he gets the cart across here and could shoot around the field for win number two.

Race 3. 7.30PM Surface Pro 275 Plus Rank Final – 395 metres

#6 Elmo Rose – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Was a significant win in more ways than one last week, not only was he the fastest qualifier for this final but won from a box other than the red for only the second time in his career.

Will have to be on his toes here with plenty of pace inside, but hopefully they collapse of each other and he can surge around the home turn.

Race 4. 7.50PM Fenech Curtains and Blinds Match Race Special Event – 395 metres

#3 Mr. Fix It – $1.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

This speedstar goes head to head with the talented Gypsy Bun here as first and second reserve for the Cup.

This track and trip should suit him down to the ground, he explodes soon after box rise and will be smashing the line, Gypsy Bun is a quality dog but would be a much better chance if this race was over the five hundred metres.

Race 5. 8.11PM Zack Monelli at Stud 1-4 restricted Win Final – 500 metres

#3 Alpine Butterfly – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The first real each-way prospect of the night here, this bitch is young in age and starts but put in a mature performance here last week right on the heels of the winner.

Before that took on Levitation at Sandown Park and while she wasn’t up to that was great to see her bounce straight back, she’s a player here.

Race 6. 8.31PM Precision Automotive Special Event – 500 metres

#4 Paua of Oscar – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

This circuit looks ready made for this dog who sometimes struggles to get the 515 at Sandown or the 525 at The Meadows but this is spot on for his skill set.

Has early speed in spades and with a vacant outside will be looking to rev up and get to the top where his turn of foot is unmatched.

Race 7. 8.51PM SEN Track Traralgon Cup Group Two Final – 395 metres

#7 Typhoon Sammy – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Freakish talent, already owns some one turn track records around Victoria and was the quickest of all eight heat winners last week.

A wide draw is a massive bonus, he’s a dog who needs those initial few strides before exploding and he’ll have no problem going three or four deep and they swing the turn for home, looks set for his inaugural Group win at the first running of this race.

Race 8. 9.11PM Sinclair Fencing Grade 5 – 500 metres

#4 Do Good Davlin – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Another favourite who’s to hard to ignore, she’s a bitch for all occasions winning from the short course right up to the six hundred but looks right at home at the track and trip the last couple of weeks.

Like Typhoon Sammy will need to balance up, but should get plenty of room with the vacant box to her outside to get into top gear.

Race 9. 9.27PM LV Forklifts Mixed 4/5 – 395 metres

#3 Dr. Knuckles – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Unlike a few of out other tips this dog is yet to fire here at Traralgon, but you can forgive two starts when he’s won sixteen races and was flying less than a month ago.

Is generally a reliable commodity early and over the short trip looks good on the each-way line.

Race 10. 9.51PM Bridges of Argyle Grade 5 – 395 metres

#8 Aston Burton – $6.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Missed out last time at Sale against the talent that’s Immunity, no shame in going under there and can bounce back to some of his recent form here showing great dash over the shorts at Horsham, track will suit.

Race 11. 10.12PM Hooked on Scotch at Stud Grade 5 – 395 metres

#6 Baby – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Is better than what his form reads over the last five, hasn’t been able to win but hasn’t been far off the pace either.

Strikes a very winnable race, loves an outside box and will get a chance to show that off first time at this circuit.

Race 12. 10.36PM Catch The Thief at Stud Grade 5 Non-Penalty – 395 metres

#1 Deedee’s Charm – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Wins her races jumping to the front and she loves doing it from inside draws holding ripping records from box ones and two in her career.

Has the talent to adapt to this track first look and land win number seven in her consistent career.
