Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 7.18PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Heat One – 520 metres

#2 Ziggy Stardust – Bet @ Sportsbet

They don’t come much more honest and consistent than this chaser, only two wins around here but has hardly missed the money in his fourteen starts.

Had been up over the six hundred in the lead up to this before running 29.96 when winning last start to have his confidence just where it needs to be for this series.

His issue over the sprint was not jumping then running on into the placings, hopefully being out in front in some middle-distance races has fixed his box manners up where he’ll be in winning positions much more often over the five hundred.

Race 2. 7.37PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Heat Two – 520 metres

#3 Murray’s Way – Bet @ Sportsbet

Very much like our first pick has never shied away from the tough races early in his career at Wentworth Park, a winner of two from sixteen here.

This looks like an ideal series for this chaser who races against dogs of the same class instead of recent runs behind Redeem or Cash and Group One winner Equalizer.

He’s only ever had one start from box three and went unplaced but his record from the one and two is miles better than any other draw, so it should suit his take a few strides and muster style of racing.

Race 3. 7.58PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Heat Three – 520 metres

#2 Gulgong Flyer – Bet @ Sportsbet

Another chaser who strikes the easiest race he’s faced in a while after consecutive fourths behind s open company types Redeem Our Cash and Winlock on Top.

Despite going under on those occasions has still broken thirty seconds in defeat and was winning races in time even quicker prior to those fourths.

Has a best split of 5.49 which he ran en route to one of his two wins here at track and trip from box one, he should go forward and make his own luck in suitable grade.

Race 4. 8.18PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Heat Four – 520 metres

#2 Opal Model – Bet @ Sportsbet

You probably don’t want her any shorter than the odds on quote but she’s that price for a reason remarkably only missing a top three placing three times from her thirty-one career starts.

She’s relatively inexperienced here at Wenty in regards to other tracks but from a small sample size is already a quick winner and achieved that from box eight, she has a much better record drawn in the two.

Wherever she’s gone she’s been blessed with natural box speed and this series could be her coming out party as a serious chaser to follow.

Race 5. 8.38PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Heat Five – 520 metres

#1 Super Edition – Bet @ Sportsbet

This is a wide open heat if you take the favourite in box seven out of the equation who’s a talent but looks way under the odds at the price.

This chaser is the exact opposite coming up at juicy each way odds and drawing a box where he can showcase his best asset early speed.

Has been in cracking form bursting out and leading for fun winning at Maitland and if more than a sneaky chance of getting a long way in front here and holding on.

Race 6. 8.58PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Heat Six – 520 metres

#3 Gold Skulltana – Bet @ Sportsbet

Good to see Victorians embracing this series, this chaser has been nothing but a winner at home notching up ten first placings at an array of different tracks and distances around Victoria.

His explosive early pace should be a real factor here at Wentworth Park just as it is at Sandown Park in Melbourne.

As long as he’s travelled well and runs up to ability should give punters an excellent sight.

Race 7. 9.19PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Heat Seven – 520 metres

#3 Coco Model – Bet @ Sportsbet

You won’t find any seven-time track and trip winners in this series besides Coco Model, Andrew Bell’s bitch boasts a brilliant record here having started off young and continuing to improve.

Has never been a bitch who’s run the hands off the clock but her strike rate tells you she’s got some field sense and knows her way to the line, which will be a massive asset in this field who are largely newcomers.

Race 8. 9.44PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Heat Eight – 520 metres

#4 Where’s Rocky – Bet @ Sportsbet

Sticking with the speedy type after a luckless run in the Golden Easter Egg Heats last week, was never given any room early crashed down from box two.

Has a cracking record outside that winning five of his ten starts here with a serious best of 29.73 which belongs in tougher races than what he’ll face here.

Race 9. 10.00PM GRNSW Masters Heat One – 520 metres

#4 Kooringa Lucy – Bet @ Sportsbet

Best of the night comes up in the penultimate, this is a bitch who’s still competing at Group One standard over the five and six hundred metres up and down the eastern seaboard.

She’s been to the track plenty of times before but warmed up with a comfortable win last week and her sustained speed should simply be too classy for these veterans.

Race 10. 10.21PM GRNSW Masters Heat Two – 520 metres

#1 Sunburnt Highway – Bet @ Sportsbet

Impossible to back against the old champ from box one here, he’s been going as good as he ever has the last couple of years and while he shortens stride late has done his damage by then.

It would be a fantastic note to go out on if he was able to progress through this series for connections, and you’d be brave to tip against him.
