Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.24PM NSW GBOTA Welcome Masters 1/2/3 – 520 metres

#1 Boomin’ Ethics – Bet @ Sportsbet

For one of the rare occasions we’re going against Sunburnt Highway in this Masters race, he has to lead to win and it’ll be tough from box five.

Much prefer this chaser at a much more attractive price, he’ll go about it differently getting back and running on but loves and inside draw and should save ground the whole way.

Last time he drew box one here he was beaten a nose running 30.23 a time well and truly capable of knocking off this contest.

Race 2. 6.49PM Ladbroke It! Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 Russian Inn – Bet @ Sportsbet

Went under as an odds on pop for punters last week when he uncharacteristically fell out of the boxes and did a good job to somehow make his way into a close third by the finish.

Since that run he went to Bulli and put in a brilliant performance from box eight racking up the second win of his career from the draw bolting home by five lengths.

This is a tougher race but off that run he’s full of confidence and if he leaves with them will still be surging towards the line.

Race 3. 7.09PM Mr. Morals Sprint Grade 5 – 520 metres

#7 Scotty – Bet @ Sportsbet

There looks a real lack of early speed in this race and that’s one thing this dog possesses in spades, connections easily able to jump from the short course to the five hundred and vice versa.

His box seven and eight record is imperious wherever he’s been and while he’s yet to break through here at the track neither are any of his competition, if he finds the front cheaply could easily build up an unassailable lead.

Race 4. 7.28PM Happy Chinese New Year Grade 5 – 520 metres

#2 Wioleta Bale – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has enjoyed a fruitful career with elevens wins and twenty plus minors but connections have been happy to keep her at the provincial tracks thus far, she’s definitely earned her shot here at Wentworth Park and has shown plenty going 30.23 in one of her two runs here.

She’s only a small bitch who can find trouble making the draw all the more important, she has the speed to best the red dog out and the vacant box outside will do wonders for her chances.

Race 5. 7.48PM Ladbrokes Easy Form Free for All – 520 metres

#1 Fantastic Raven – Bet @ Sportsbet

Bandit Ned is the headline act in this race, the potential superstar will be a deserved favourite, but with his hit and miss box manners drawn out in the eight would rather steer clear and this bitch is full of confidence.

Has done the majority of her racing in South Australia, but has clearly settled in to her new surrounds her last three starts a runner-up in free for all grade and two lightning wins at Gosford and here at Wentworth Park.

Is drawn to get a charmed run and will need to get away from Bandit Ned early to secure a race winning break.

Race 6. 8.11PM Congratulations Ash Barty Grade 5 – 520 metres

#4 Cartel Master – Bet @ Sportsbet

Brings an excellent form line into this beaten narrowly by Fernando Hunter a dog who went within a nose of making it to the Paws of Thunder final.

His form prior to that was still encouraging a win from box eight at track and trip his second and quickest here at Wentworth.

Has been jumping much better lately and should have the muster to put himself in a winning position on the first corner.

Race 7. 8.28PM Congratulations Special K’s Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 Ritza Skyler – Bet @ Sportsbet

There are a lot of dogs who haven’t quite cut the mustard in city class over their careers but Ritza Skyler isn’t one of them.

She may have only won one from seven here at Wentworth but with only a dozen starts to her name is improving every run and it only helps she comes in with winning form as well.

She’s stretched out over the six hundred showing she has the speed and endurance to be a major factor here.

Race 8. 8.48PM #Getyourgreyhoundon Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres

#2 Fernando Hunter – Bet @ Sportsbet

He’ll likely be short enough here but couldn’t be a bigger wrap for this young up and comer, knocking off ten of his eighteen career starts and storming to victory three times track and trip.

Love the way he goes about it, he can jump and run them ragged or come out a few lengths behind and drive hard at the line, best of the night.

Race 9. 9.09PM Ladbrokes Switch Grade 5 – 520 metres

#1 Sweeptail – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has only has the eight starts but crucially seven of them have come here at Wenty and this talent is fast becoming part of the furniture looking for her third win.

She rattled off a 29.9 performance from this same draw just a couple of weeks ago and in a moderate fifth grade should pad her stats.

Race 10. 9.34PM Wentworthpark.com.au Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 Redeem our Cash – Bet @ Sportsbet

You don’t become a five time winner at Wentworth Park by chance, this bitch never goes long without saluting and has done so her last two times out around here.

Has the versatility to do it from an outside draw, should follow the speed across and use her mid-race burn to put this to bed.
