Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.20PM NSW GBOTA Welcome Grade 5 – 520 metres

#1 Rebecca Gay – Bet @ Sportsbet

It hasn’t been as easy path for this bitch battling injury and long spells on the sideline multiple times in her career, but she’s seemingly on track now coming of an Albion Park romp last week.

Was far too quick for them from an inside box on that occasion showing a great turn of foot down the back breaking her rivals hearts.

She hasn’t been here to Wenty before but connections are striking while the iron is hot, if she bounces like she did last start will prove mighty tough to track down.

Race 2. 6.38PM Ladbroke It! Grade 5 – 520 metres

#1 Key Bob – Bet @ Sportsbet

Another who hasn’t lived at Wentworth Park throughout his career having just the one start here for a promising second, but his record elsewhere is stellar, eleven wins from Richmond to Wauhope there’s some versatility with the way he goes about it.

Wins his races with early speed and from the red gets a chance to punch up and lead, has won four of five starts from the draw.

Looks the likely leader but we’ll find out a bit about him when the challengers make their runs late.

Race 3. 6.59PM Friday Night racing at Wentworth Park March 11th Grade 5 – 520 metres

#4 She’s Savage – Bet @ Sportsbet

The only question mark hanging over this bitch was her ability to win here at headquarters and she put that to bed with a dominant display last week running down Rockstar Newbold.

Had a nice build up to that win getting away from some hard races here and winning in style at Maitland to take her record to seven wins from nineteen starts.

She’s one of the only chasers in this race with Wentworth Park form you’d hang your hat on and has the confidence of consecutive wins to boot.

Race 4. 7.18PM LGEE 2011 Radley Bale Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres

#7 Gulgong Flyer – Bet @ Sportsbet

This dogs initial stint at Wentworth Park didn’t go all that well, but connections took the dog back to the provincials won and handful of races and he’s come back to Wenty his last three starts posting a best of 29.97.

Has best first split is 5.49 and happens to be from box seven, doesn’t have too much that’ll get in his way either side and should secure a clean run to the first corner.

That’ll be key is he can camp that little bit closer, has been running on well going down by small margins.

Race 5. 7.39PM LGEE 2012 Don’t Knocka Him Grade 5 – 520 metres

#4 Skedaddle Jamie – Bet @ Sportsbet

Is yet to win here in nine starts but this looks like his best chance yet in a very moderate fifth grade and despite not saluting he’s run some pretty solid times here in the past.

Recent form includes a win at Nowra and a couple of runner-ups at track and trip, should have plenty of confidence off those results and with a best fo 30.09 coming from box four can push forward and make his own luck in an open affair.

Race 6. 7.58PM Ladbrokes Easy Form Masters 1/2/3 – 520 metres

#5 Zipping Brady – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been as stuff as anything not to find the winners circle his last three starts where he’s found one better on each occasion despite running cracking races.

Has been going between Albion Park Thursday’s in Queensland and Wentworth Park Saturday’s and he’s firing on all cylinders on both tracks, it took Sunburnt Highway to edge him a nose last time here and he’s capable of flipping that result.

Race 7. 8.16PM Wentworthpark.com.au Free for All – 520 metres

#3 Farmor Beach – Bet @ Sportsbet

This Group One winning Queenslander is probably past his prime, but it’s promising to see him back for another campaign when connections could have easily sent him to stud.

Usually does his best racing fresh, at his best was one of the best box dogs in Australia and could cause some serious issues for Wow drawn in box two if he pings out fresh.

Is short of a run but when he finds the front has rarely been run down in his career.

Race 8. 8.35PM LGEE 2013 Gregorieva Bale Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 Tarawi Sophie – Bet @ Sportsbet

Not a lot of winning form in this race but this bitch boasts an excellent result winning her maiden at start ten while running a handsome 30.13 around this track and trip.

Has spent almost half of her career starts here and although it’s taken a while it’s a key breakthrough and should be the gateway to consecutive wins.

Race 9. 8.54PM LGEE 2014 Tonk Grade 5 – 520 metres

#6 Cowgirl Ethics – Bet @ Sportsbet

Is never far away regardless of where she is racing, has not been out of the money her last five starts including wins over the 340 metre short course at Bulli and just last week at Wentworth Park.

Looks to get a nice trail into the race with the dog in the five looking for the rail, a four-time winner here in the past she can power of by and make it five.

Race 10. 9.18PM Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Prelude Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres

#8 Special Blend – Bet @ Sportsbet

Not many prefer the outside of the track here at Wenty but Special Blend is a dog who’s handled it with aplomb a three-time winner off the draw.

Maps to either lead or sit outside Vamos Penny in the run and has shown lately his back end of races is getting much stronger.
